University of Agder交换记录–About Laundry Room

简介

这一篇主要介绍关于在交换期间的洗衣服的问题. 之前我们在University of Agder交换记录-住宿入学注意事项里面介绍了大部分来了之后需要注意的点, 这里我们单独说一下洗衣服的事情.

在这里洗衣服可以使用手洗或者使用洗衣机来洗. 手洗的话就可以在宿舍的卫生间里洗, 洗完之后可以放在暖气片上烘干. 使用洗衣机的话需要在Laundry Room中进行使用, 这里我们就重点来说一下Laundry Room的使用.

关于Laundry Room的使用

在我们第一天来宿舍的时候, 他会给你一个信封, 里面会有一张"SiA laundry service"的纸, 上面会有关于如何进行洗衣机充值的相关的说明. 我们就登录Mielelogic上进行充值.

关于洗衣的价格:

• Washing machine: 20 NOK
• Dryer: 10 NOK

所以基本洗一次是需要30 NOK的 (洗衣服加烘干).

下面是洗衣机各个部分的名字, 方便进行搜索.

关于洗衣机模式的选择

这里的washing machine是可以调节语言的, 默认是挪威语, 我们可以调节为英文的. 一共有下面的四种模式.

在讲上面四种模式之前, 我们介绍一下关于水温, 转速等内容.

关于温度的说明

• Generally speaking, the hotter the water the cleaner your clothes will be, but you don't always want to just crank up the heat. (温度越高, 洗得越干净)
• Hot water can cause your clothes to shrink and often colors. (但是热水会使得衣服缩水或是变色)

下面是一个关于温度的汇总:

• Cold: Use for anything that might shrink or bleed dye. Cold water is most gentle on clothing.
• Warm: Use for sheets, towels and other linens.
• Hot: Use for sanitizing items, such as baby clothes, cloth diapers, linens and athletic wear.

关于时间的说明

Now you've picked the cycle, but what about those numbers you see around the dial? They are for the length of the wash cycle in minutes. Most washing machines have settings for between 15 and 4 minutes, with variations for different cycles.

On some machines, the numbers are replaced with super heavy, heavy, normal and light cycle choices. The heavier the load, the longer the load takes to wash. The longer the wash cycle, the better for getting heavily soiled garments clean. A good rule of thumb is to use a shorter cycle regularly and increase the time when you have a load that's dirtier than usual.

关于Cycle的选择

Most washers have a regular (or normal, or cotton) cycle, a permanent press (also called colors) cycle and a delicate cycle. Some have a hand-wash cycle for ultra-delicate items and a bulky cycle for blankets or pillows

关于Load Size的选择

If the washer is:

• One-quarter full, use Small
• One-half full, use Medium
• More than one-half full, use Large
• At full capacity, use Extra-large (if available)

关于模式的综合说明

下面我们简单介绍一下上面的四种模式, 我发现这里每个模式的温度和时间都是设置好的, 所以也没这么多可以调节的, 大概根据字面意思来进行选择吧.

• Cottons Unit (棉)
• Minimum iron, 这个应该是烫衣服那个温度
• Delicates (精致)
• Woollens (毛织品)

关于洗衣液与消毒液

还有一个要说明的就是关于洗衣液和消毒液的倒入. 倒入的容器叫Detergent drawer.

关于烘干机的模式选择

同样, 关于dryer是可以调节语言的, 默认是挪威语, 我们在这里调节为英文的. 下面是一个模式选择的界面, 按照自己的衣服种类进行选择吧.

关于洗衣服的注意事项

洗衣房开放时间问题

这个需要格外的留意. 在我这个楼里, 洗衣房, 也就是洗衣机烘干机的开放时间是从7:00-23:00, 不在这段时间的时候, 是无法使用的.

也就是说, 如果晚上十二点想去洗衣服, 洗衣机无法使用的. 同时, 如果时间不够, 是无法启动机器的. 比如说, 现在是10:30, 但是烘干要1h, 此时系统会提示你时间不足, 无法开始.

所以去洗衣服之前, 特别是晚上的时候, 提前算好时间, 提早3个小时左右, 像是晚上八点就可以把衣服放在洗衣房了.

Can underwear be washed together with socks

这个之前我是一直不是很确定, 但是手洗有些麻烦(单独洗的话, 有的凑不满一洗衣机), 所以就查了一下相关的一些说明, 在这里进行记录.

If you're wary of putting different types of clothes in together because of where they're worn, that just means you don't trust your washer/detergent/bleach to do the job and get everything clean. (首先进行思想上说明, 要相信洗衣机)

接着有一些要说明的地方.

• The first one is that your underwear should be cotton (and so should your socks). I wouldn't wash synthetic garments like nylon or silk panties in the washing machine, but rather by hand. (注意一下衣服的材质, 这个在上面模式选择的地方也会说)
• And another condition is only washing colors together, which is to say do not wash white underwear with colored clothing of any kind. Your whites may not come out bright if you do that. (相同颜色的一起洗)
• Dry items right away to prevent mold, mildew and souring (caused by bacteria growth). (洗完之后快速的烘干可以防止发霉)
• I wash my underwear and socks together, but I don't throw pants, shirts, jackets, towels, or anything else in the washing machine with my underwear. I don't mind running a separate load of wash if it means that my delicate garments will last longer than they might last otherwise. (如果有一些精致的服装, 会单独拿出来进行清洗)

所以, 我想是可以混合在一起的, 不过需要买一个洗衣袋(把袜子装在一起), 然后买消毒液.
